You will hear the story of the Renaissance city before the tour continues to Akershus Fortress. Here, you will learn how the fortress—originally built as a royal residence in the Middle Ages—was transformed into a Renaissance castle surrounded by bastion fortifications. After a short tram ride to the Frogner Park, the tour proceeds to Oslo’s most visited park; Vigeland Sculpture Park, where it concludes with a guided walk through the park.
