Experience Oslo's natural beauty in golden autumn colours, breathe in the fresh air and be told about the city's exciting industrial history, bustling art scene, new and old architecture side by side, as we walk from bridge to bridge along the River.
The tour starts at vibrant Nydalen. Nydalen is one of the city's most popular places to live and work. Here you'll find wooden and red brick buildings side by side with modern office buildings and spectacular high-rises, such as the 18-story Vertikal, designed by Snøhetta with innovative technology and sustainable solutions for the environment. The tour continues crossing the bridges towards Grünerbrua where it ends. Grünerbrua is next to Oslo Mathall, a Norwegian food hall modeled after European food halls where you will find specialty shops, cafes and eateries. The Mathall is located at Vulkan, a former industrial area on the west side of the river and close to Oslo's hippest and trendiest district, Grünerløkka. Guided by an experienced photographer and passionate art lover you’ll visit hidden gems, pause for unique photo stops, and gain new perspectives on the city’s creative life and open green spaces.
