About this experience

Discover the history of the Storting, the Norwegian Parliament, the Grand Hotel and the National Theatre. Hear the story behind *The Scream* at the National Museum, and learn why Gustav Vigeland was given his own outdoor sculpture park.

This is a three-hour tour that starts at the Parliament and ends in Frogner Park. Starting at the Parliament building (Stortinget), the tour proceeds along Karl Johans gate—past historic buildings such as the Grand Hotel, the National Theatre, and the University Aula—before concluding at the city’s new National Museum. Following a tour of the museum, we take a short tram ride to Frogner Park, where the tour ends after a guided walk through the Vigeland sculpture park.
