Velkommen til Bergen!

My name is Chloé and I’ve been working as an Authorized Bergen Guide since 2016.

I find Bergen to be THE perfect place to live in and to visit, so I want to share with you my love for this city!

As a former capital of the country, founded over 950 years ago, walking the streets of Bergen is like going through a history book. I’ll take you to the passageways of the UNESCO-listed Hanseatic district of Bryggen as well as other historical sites.

Being the second largest city in Norway, you will find everything you need in Bergen: museums and cultural activities, bakeries and restaurants, shopping centers and local artisans. I’ll update you on the different events happening during your stay and give you some personal recommendations.

I’m very fond of good food so I’ll share with you the best places to get seafood, a reindeer hot-dog, a hot chocolate or an ice-cream!

At the same time, Bergen’s city center is relatively small which means that most places are within walking distance. My favorite part of a tour is strolling in the old cobblestone streets, where residential areas with traditional wooden houses make you feel all the small-town charm Bergen has to offer.

Last but not least, Bergen is surrounded by amazing nature!

Bergen is known as the city of 7 mountains, and I think that discovering Bergen through a hike is a unique experience as well as a great way to get amazing views of the area. If you prefer swimming, I can recommend some mountain lakes, outdoor swimming pools and saunas.

Whether you are passionate about history, architecture or street art, all city walks I provide are adjusted to your preferences.
