About this experience
Discover Berlin’s vibrant subcultures on two wheels! Join me, Luca—a certified local guide and lifelong Berliner—for a ride through Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain. Experience the city’s street art, alternative spaces, and unique community spots, all at a relaxed pace.
Let yourself be guided through the alternative side of Berlin! I’m Luca, born and raised here, and certified to the European Quality Standard for guides. My tours are always tailored and personal, with years of experience introducing guests to the city’s most unique corners.
On this biking adventure, we start at a friendly neighborhood bike shop. I’ll share how Berlin’s history set the stage for so many creative, counter-cultural projects. We’ll pedal through streets filled with street art, old squats turned community centers, underground venues, and quiet urban parks. You’ll meet the city’s spirit in its collective spaces, music clubs, and colorful communities.
Expect to visit the home of a self-sufficient Berliner, see a hospital-turned-art-center, and drop by a small urban farm run by passionate locals.
Bikes are included in the price. The route is easy and relaxed: Berlin has great infrastructure for cycling, and we move at a pace that lets you soak up every detail—no need to be super fit.
This tour is for anyone curious to uncover what makes Berlin so distinctively alive—which you simply won’t find on standard tourist routes.
Bikes included. No need for advanced fitness—route is flat and suitable for all levels. Bring comfortable clothes and weather-appropriate gear. Tour is not recommended for children under 12. English and German available. Maximum group size: 8 people.
