Discover the best of Copenhagen on a relaxed walking tour. Visit the city's iconic landmarks while exploring its fascinating history, royal heritage and Danish culture. Along the way, I'll share local stories and insider tips to help you experience Copenhagen like a local.
We'll begin our walk in City Hall Square, where you'll discover the history of Copenhagen and the fascinating stories behind its surrounding landmarks. From there, we'll explore the Old and New Squares, where the city's medieval origins come to life.
We'll continue to Copenhagen Cathedral, the historic University, and Christiansborg Palace, the heart of Denmark's political power. After a peaceful stop in the beautiful Royal Library Garden, we'll reach the elegant King's New Square before strolling along the iconic waterfront of Nyhavn, with its colorful 17th-century houses.
Our journey then takes us to Amalienborg Palace, home of the Danish royal family, where you'll learn about the monarchy's past and present. We'll finish at two of Copenhagen's most famous landmarks: the impressive Gefion Fountain and the Little Mermaid, Denmark's beloved symbol and the perfect place for a memorable photo.

Meeting Point
The standard meeting point is City Hall Square, in front of Copenhagen City Hall. If you are staying at a centrally located hotel, I will be happy to meet you there and adjust the route accordingly.
Weather
The tour will take place in rain or snow, so please dress according to the weather. Only extreme weather conditions may require cancellation. In that case, a cancellation fee of 50% of the tour price will apply.
Private Transportation
This tour can also be enjoyed by private vehicle. If you wish, I can help arrange comfortable private transportation at competitive rates with a trusted local driver.
Tour Extensions
If you would like to explore additional areas or spend more time at certain locations, the tour can be extended upon request. Additional time is charged at €60 per hour, or per part of an hour exceeding 15 minutes.
