Trolls, Goats & Mountain Adventures Looking for a fun and active family adventure in Bergen? Join me for a cosy 3–4 hour walk on top of Mount Fløyen, specially designed for families with young children who love climbing, exploring and running around in all weather conditions.

I'll meet you at the Fløibanen ticket office at the bottom of the mountain, and our adventure begins with a breathtaking ride on Bergen's famous funicular railway. As we climb higher and higher above the city, keep an eye out for the spectacular views waiting for us at the top.

Our first stop is one of Fløyen's most beautiful viewpoints, where we'll look down on Bergen and discover just how tiny the city looks from above. Then it's time to meet some of the mountain's most popular residents – the Fløyen goats! These fluffy and incredibly relaxed locals love attention, scratches, and posing for photos. Just remember to watch where you step; unfortunately, they haven't quite mastered toilet training yet. 🐐😄

Next comes the real adventure. Fløyen is home to several fantastic outdoor playgrounds, all with easy access to toilets, water, snacks, and drinks. While the children climb, swing, and explore, I can share stories about life in Bergen, Norwegian culture, local traditions, and what it's like to grow up in Norway.

Afterwards, we'll head into the magical forest where Norwegian folklore comes to life. Norway's mythology is filled with mysterious creatures, and trolls are definitely the stars of the show. We'll visit a giant troll statue, wander through the enchanting troll forest, and hear stories about these legendary creatures that have fascinated Norwegian children for generations.

Feeling brave? Our adventure continues to the climbing park, where children can test their courage and balance as they make their way through ropes, obstacles, and towers. Can you make it all the way to the top?

After all that excitement, we'll take a well-earned break by a peaceful mountain lake where ducks glide across the water and the forest provides the perfect setting for a quiet moment.

If everyone still has energy left, we'll continue our walk through Fløyen's beautiful woodland trails, surrounded by nature and fresh mountain air. At the end of the tour, I can help your family return to the city centre, or you can stay on the mountain and continue your own adventure.

The tour price does not include Fløibanen tickets, food, drinks, or other personal expenses. There are several places to buy snacks, ice cream, drinks, and light meals on top of the mountain, and you're also welcome to bring your own picnic. Optional Norwegian Hiking Picnic

To make your mountain adventure even more memorable, I can arrange a simple Norwegian-style hiking picnic for an additional fee. Experience some of Norway's favourite outdoor snacks and treats, just like locals enjoy on their weekend hikes.

The picnic can include a selection of traditional hiking foods, local snacks, fruit, chocolate, and popular Norwegian candies. For guests who prefer a healthier option, I can also prepare a whole-food picnic featuring fresh ingredients, seasonal produce, nuts, berries, and other nutritious snacks.
