How commission and partner discounts work

At Keyguides Connect, our philosophy is simple:

We only make money when you make money. You always decide your own prices, and who pays the commission depends on how the booking comes in. Here’s how it works:

1. Direct bookings via your profile ✅

• You set your own price (tour or hourly).

• Guests book you directly through your profile.

• We add 15% commission on top, which the guest pays.

• You always receive 100% of your set price.

2. Bookings via the Job Board 🧾

• Partners post jobs and set what they pay guides for those jobs.

• You apply to the jobs you want based on their criteria.

• When they book you, they pay you directly what they offered.

• On top of that, partners pay Keyguides a 15% booking fee — guides never pay commission here.

• You always receive 100% of what the partner offered.

3. Partner referral bookings 🔗

• Some partners use a referral link to book guides directly through their profile - either your tours or by the hour for a tailored tour.

• In those cases, they get a 10% discount on your set price.

• You receive 90% of your set price in these bookings.

• Partners still pay the 15% commission to Keyguides on top of what they pay you.
