How do I create and publish a tour with the Tour Builder?

If you want to offer your own experiences on Keyguides Connect, the Tour Builder is your starting point. It’s available to all guides – even on the free plan – and lets you create up to 8 tours with a premium subscription.

All tours are published on your public profile and can be booked directly by guests.

💬 Where do I find the Tour Builder?

Log in to your Keyguides Connect dashboard and go to “Tours” in the left-hand menu.

Here, you can start a new tour, continue editing drafts, or manage your existing ones.

🧠 Meet Nova – Your AI Tour Builder Assistant

When you start building a tour, you’ll be chatting with Nova, our friendly AI assistant. Nova helps you shape your tour by asking questions and suggesting:

• Headlines and descriptions

• What to include or highlight

• Tips for structure, duration, and guest experience

• Creative ideas for routes or special stops

• Writing support if you’re stuck

You don’t need to have everything figured out — Nova is there to guide you as you build.

💡 Tip: Ask Nova things like:

“What’s a good title for a food walk in Lisbon?”

“Can you help me describe my wine tasting stop?”

“What’s a nice hidden spot I can add to my Old Town tour?”

🧱 What information will I need to create a tour?

Here’s what you’ll add step by step:

• Title and description

• Start location and meeting instructions

• Locations All locations you will visit (they have their own website so your guests can read about them!)

• Tour duration and what’s included (entrance fees, transportation, etc.)

• Booking conditions, such as group size or time flexibility

• Price per person — via one or multiple offerings (see pricing doc)

• Images — Minimum 1, maximum 8. You upload these after completing the text.

🖼️ What about images?

Once you’ve finished entering your tour details, you’ll be prompted to upload images:

• Minimum: 1 image required

• Maximum: 8 images

• Use high-quality photos of places on the tour, or of yourself guiding

• Your images will show as a carosel on your tour page

🚀 When is the tour visible?

You control when the tour goes live:

• Save as draft while you’re still working

• Click “Publish” to make the tour public and visible on your profile

All tours created are public. At the moment, there’s no way to create private or partner-only tours.

❗How many tours can I create?

• Free plan: 1 active tour

• Premium plan: up to 8 tours

  You can upgrade any time from your dashboard.

🔄 Can I edit a tour later?

Yes! You can update, unpublish, or delete your tour at any time from the Tours menu.
